Are You Prepared for a Civil War?.mp3

00:00:01 If you wait for a situation where you need more ammunition to get more ammunition, you waited too long.00:00:08 As tensions are growing in the United States, it's becoming more obvious why the left has been feverishly attempting to disarm the right year after year.
00:00:17 False flag after false flag, but something that often goes unnoticed is also the the subtle ridicule and demonization of the people that have been preparing for what now seems.
00:00:27 To be almost inevitable, conflict between the left and the right, the demonization of people that.
00:00:32 Any call preppers, the reason the left doesn't want you to have guns might be obvious.
00:00:38 But why they?
00:00:39 Wouldn't want you to have food, water and shelter for your family.
00:00:43 Might not be.
00:00:44 It's not what you might think.
00:00:46 It's not as much they want you to be ill prepared or unable to survive in an armed conflict as much as it is that they know.
00:00:54 That you will be afraid of initiating.
00:00:57 A conflict or even supporting those that might, if you are living paycheck to paycheck, or even if you have thousands of dollars in your bank account but no tangible resources, you rely on the system to survive, so you will actively defend against threats to the system.
00:01:14 And obviously, if you are on government assistance and unwilling to.
00:01:17 To work for a living, you are certainly not going to want to fight for a living.
00:01:22 Now I've mentioned in previous videos that things will get much worse before they get better.
00:01:26 I don't think everyone fully understands what I mean by that.
00:01:29 If the current situation devolves into an actual civil war, parts of the country will be without food, without water, without power, without the Internet and without phone service and.
00:01:41 Without law enforcement, if you're in an urban area and you are not prepared to deal with all.
00:01:46 All of these situations, then it very well could be a death sentence for you and your family.
00:01:51 And I'm not exaggerating.
00:01:52 So even though this isn't really what I usually do, let's talk about some of the basics, because I think it could save some lives.
00:01:58 First, let's talk about water.
00:02:00 Water is actually more important.
00:02:02 Than food you will.
00:02:02 Die of thirst before you die of starvation, and most people in urban areas.
00:02:06 Don't even think about where they would get water if the water coming out of the tap.
00:02:11 Were to dry up now while you can survive unless a good rule of thumb when calculating how much water you need to be on the safe side is about a gallon a day per person.
00:02:20 Now this can obviously become a difficult proposition for people who have limited space.
00:02:25 So in addition to storing whatever water you can, it's a good idea to research local.
00:02:32 Forces and be prepared to purify any water you might harvest from the environment, whether it's rain, water or if there's a nearby river or something like that.
00:02:40 If you can distill water, if you can collect rain water, these are these are things you need to be thinking about right now.
00:02:47 The next thing is food.
00:02:48 Now, survival food is actually pretty inexpensive these days.
00:02:51 If you have the money.
00:02:52 You can spring for freeze dried gourmet meals and if not, you can stock up on high calorie canned.
00:03:02 My personal favorite is peanut butter, which is pretty good survival food with a high calorie count and a decent shelf life.
00:03:09 I think the Mormons actually have the right idea when it comes to having at least a year supply of food for each member of the family, and if you want to be prepared for the long term seeds.
00:03:21 Or actually, if kept properly, pretty much indestructible, they'll last forever and are almost free seeds for vegetables and fruit are very cheap.
00:03:30 The next thing, and arguably the most important thing, is ammunition.
00:03:34 If you wait for a situation where you need more ammunition.
00:03:37 To get more ammunition, you waited too long and without ammunition, you might as well not have food and water because the people with ammunition will just take whatever they want from you.
00:03:47 The question of what types of firearms and ammunition you should have depends on your personal situation, but I think it's a good idea that everyone have at least one rifle, and I don't mean.
00:03:57 Like a 22 caliber that doesn't count. I mean like an AR15 or an SKS, something more powerful than A22A shotgun and a handgun.
00:04:06 Again, probably more powerful than a 22. The amount of ammunition you need also depends on your personal situation, but I.
00:04:13 Think a good rule of thumb.
00:04:14 Is to always have more than you can carry, and if you know you're going to be stuck in one place, honestly, I would get as much as you can reasonably store next, and probably the most overlooked thing you can get is a means to communicate many of you listening to this have never lived in a world without the Internet and assume it'll just always be there.
00:04:33 This is a pretty big.
00:04:34 Assumption, considering how vulnerable the Internet is to both physical and digital attacks.
00:04:39 So if the Internet.
00:04:40 To go out because of a thunderstorm, you better believe it'll go out if there's a civil war.
00:04:46 This applies to your digital phone.
00:04:48 So your cell phone networks as well.
00:04:50 I cannot emphasize enough how important it is right now to familiarize yourself with alternative communication methods like amateur or ham radio, or at the very least.
00:05:00 Citizen Band or CB Radio.
00:05:03 Good comms are vital, otherwise you're gonna have no idea what's going on.
00:05:07 Think of all the information.
00:05:09 That just on a normal week you get from the Internet, the television or your phone.
00:05:13 If you think you get panicked when you accidentally leave your phone at your desk when you go out to lunch, just imagine how panicked you're gonna be when there's no Internet at all for weeks on end, when there's a war going on outside, and if you don't have the the money or the ability to invest.
00:05:29 And two way communications at the bare minimum, you need to pick up maybe one of those cheap solar slash, crank powered shortwave emergency radios that you can buy almost anywhere they're dirt cheap.
00:05:42 And believe me, it it'll be better than nothing.
00:05:44 Which leads me to the next thing which is power.
00:05:47 Power could become just as scarce as the Internet and just as fast as far as long term solutions.
00:05:53 I think solar is probably the most viable option for most people.
00:05:57 Solar panels are silent, they require little to no maintenance and most importantly.
00:06:02 That don't require fuel.
00:06:03 The gas generator is great until you're out of gas.
00:06:06 Speaking of fuel, let's talk about transportation.
00:06:08 Again, this depends completely on where you need to go and what you need to take with you.
00:06:15 If you wanna get out of the city, can you make it to where you're going on one tank?
00:06:18 You think you're just gonna be able to waltz right into a gas station and fill her up?
00:06:22 Being stranded at the side of the road?
00:06:24 Halfway to your.
00:06:25 Cabin might be worse than staying in the city.
00:06:29 And what about alternative transportation that doesn't require fuel like a bicycle?
00:06:33 Would you be able to make it to where you're going with everything you need?
00:06:36 These are all questions you should have answers for before there's an emergency and last but certainly not least, is medical considerations, not only.
00:06:46 You have a standard first aid kit, but if it's a civil war we're talking about, you should also have the means to treat gunshot wounds, not just the medical equipment, but the medical.
00:06:56 Know how in the form of printed books, I don't recommend any particular combat medic book.
00:07:01 There are several available, but limited or no access to emergency services and.
00:07:07 Hospitals is something you?
00:07:09 Definitely think about.
00:07:10 Always remember if the left doesn't want you doing it if the left is demonizing it, it's probably good and prepping is no different now that we've gone over some of the basics and and comment below if you think of something I might have left out or if you have something you think can help people out, but let me just say also, I don't think it's time to panic yet.
00:07:29 That's why we're talking about this now.
00:07:32 If it was time to panic, the grocery store shelves and gun stores would already be empty, and this conversation would be pointless.
00:07:38 It's always a.
00:07:39 Good idea to get the insurance policy before your house is on fire.
00:07:44 But you'd be you'd be crazy to not at least take this seriously.
00:07:50 Considering that our neighbors to the left right now.
