00:07:24 Are not because I don't want movies about, you know, sex trafficking to be made or anything like that or or or where there's a positive white heterosexual Christian males that make a ton of babies.

00:07:45 It's just that you have to understand movies are not just pieces of art.
00:07:48 Movies are propaganda.
00:07:51 And the way that you tell a story is the way that you are are causing the audience to experience the events that you are telling them happen.

00:08:07 Based on a true story and.
00:08:09 We've gone over that.
00:08:10 In the past, based on a true story, does you know it's?
00:08:14 Any everything's based on a true story. Any fantasy is based on on reality, right? Unless you're just imagining things that no one's ever imagined before.

00:08:29 Now, how far did they stray from the the actual events?
00:08:32 I mean, not not significantly enough to where I think it matters that much.

00:08:38 The point is, is how they've told this story and how it's going to be.

00:09:46 A lot of the.
00:09:48 You know, the the heroic white boomer comes in and and saves the brown people kind of movies.

00:11:19 So this little girl's in her in her house, banging on a.

00:11:31 That's the other thing about this movie.
00:11:34 It's all in Spanish, like pretty much like there's the first bit is is in English.
00:11:40 Well, I mean, aside from this little intro part, but the first bit is in English and I would say at least a little over half of this movies in Spanish.
00:11:53 Now the pushback I I can imagine getting as people saying, well of course it's in Spanish, it takes place in Spanish speaking countries.
00:12:02 Well, that doesn't ******* matter if you are designing a film for English speaking audiences, you make it in English.
00:12:10 Because so much can be lost in in just reading the subtitles right, the emphasis on certain words, the delivery it's it's the same reason why it's.

00:12:23 Well, when Republicans were still when they were just grappling with that.

00:12:28 Well, if the Mexicans are coming, they they just have to assimilate.
00:12:31 Yeah, they have to be able to learn how to the language.

00:13:28 When he's talking to the other crew members on the submarine, you know they're they're not speaking Russian.
00:13:34 They're not having to read subtitles.
00:13:37 And in, in fact, the most memorable.
00:13:39 Scenes of that movie, you know, like, oh, I want to move to Montana.
00:13:43 I want to find a round woman and and raise rabbits.
00:13:46 And none of that **** would make any sense if or it wouldn't be as funny.
00:13:51 If you were just reading subtitles.
00:13:53 You would just be like, OK, is maybe this is a bad.
00:13:55 Translation or something this make any sense?
00:13:57 No, because you want to.
00:13:59 The the English speaking audience to be able to.
00:14:02 Relate to these.
00:14:03 Characters you make the movie in.
00:14:04 English it it it's normal.
00:14:07 Or at least it was normal until fairly recently, until Netflix started producing all these movies in foreign languages, because now we're all citizens of the world.

00:14:24 All these people that ohh the course, it's Spanish.
00:14:27 Well then how come in Star Trek everyone's ******* speaking English?

00:15:09 A lot of the the people in America, certainly in California and Texas now, right, the majority of of Texans are now Hispanic.

00:15:23 And if you're looking at this as a conservative piece of propaganda, and I would say it is a conservative piece of propaganda in the same way that, like the daily wire movies are conservative.

00:17:34 I'll be honest, this film well, it's not terribly made.

00:17:38 It's not as I mean, conservatives have come a long way in producing movies.
00:17:45 I'm sure the involvement of some, you know, Hollywood heavy hitters certainly helped helped a lot in terms of making this not like a.

00:17:55 In the past, every concerning movie has just been a it's just been a a train wreck and this is this is not a train wreck.
00:18:01 It's a low budget movie.
00:18:03 It's the kind of film that you would expect less in the theaters and maybe more being produced on, like Amazon Prime or Hulu or maybe Netflix.
00:18:13 Even Netflix, though I would say, has gone above and beyond the production value that you.
00:18:20 See in this movie.
00:18:21 But it's not so bad that that it's distracting.
00:18:23 There's only a couple of things in there where you're like, oh, that's a little cheesy looking, but for the most part, it's it's not.
00:18:29 Not too bad.
00:18:31 The storytelling is.
00:18:34 You know, it's it's very conservatives lack subtlety.
00:18:38 They lack subtle they they they really do.
00:18:40 They they don't know how to tell a story without just banging you over the.
00:18:45 Head with it.
00:18:46 And they don't realize that that doesn't work that works with other conservatives, right?
00:18:51 That's why, you know, presenting people with facts and charts and numbers.
00:18:54 Never seems to convince anyone when you get into arguments with leftists on the Internet and and you start busting out like numbers and they don't, they don't ******* care about it.
00:19:02 It's about emotion.
00:19:04 And and sadly, all this is really going to be doing as far as you know, that goes is preaching to the choir.
00:19:12 The emotional moments are only going to trigger people who already have sympathies in this area.
00:19:18 If you're like a a pro pedo leftist, you're going to you're not going to.
00:19:21 There's no subtlety about it.

00:19:59 Down to this hotel, then we're going.
00:20:01 To do a photo.
00:20:02 Shoot and you know, then you you'll maybe make a ton of money because your kids are so, so good looking.

00:20:15 So they got on a bus and you realize, OK, this is Honduras.
00:20:18 I guess they're in.
00:20:20 I don't even try to say that to Google something, whatever.

00:20:28 Ohh this is the so this is the little girl and the little boy.
00:20:32 That is going to this photo shoot thing.
00:20:37 And the dad goes to drop them off.
00:20:41 And immediately like again, there's no there's no sneakiness to this. You you get the idea that, OK, something's amiss. The hotel's like all scummy looking.

00:20:52 Bringing his kids to like some shady ******* hotel and leaving them in in with this woman without without any way of keeping an eye on them because she's like oh.

00:21:10 And so he leaves.
00:21:11 And once inside, she starts kind of showing the the kids the kinds of photos that she's looking for doing not, not necessarily sexual poses, but but sensual, I guess poses, you know, trying to look sexy.
00:21:27 She starts putting makeup on the little girls and.
00:21:30 You know, they go through this.
00:21:32 Photo shoot and all the little girls.
00:21:33 Are are getting.
00:21:34 Their picture taken?
00:21:36 You get like the another another, not so subtle.
00:21:38 Move where she's unbuttoning the the blouse of one of the girls so she can show more of herself.
00:21:46 And then this is that.
00:21:47 That's the girl from the very beginning.
00:21:49 This is going to be.
00:21:51 This is the not the main character per se, but this is the the object in the film.
00:21:56 This is like the like in Pulp Fiction.
00:21:58 The the suitcase right that you never really know what's in it, but for some reason everyone wants this suitcase.
00:22:04 Every film has, like the thing, right?
00:22:06 The thing that everyone wants to you know, that's.

00:22:09 Objective desire necessarily, but like the thing that that's really important, that ties the whole movie together and that's this girl right here.
00:22:19 You then realize all of your suspicions. Unless you were an idiot. Were correct. When the father comes back at 7:00 and finds out that there's nobody there, there's nobody there.

00:22:35 And runs out into the street and his kids are just gone.
00:22:39 They're just ******* gone.
00:22:41 The movie then starts to cut to.
00:22:44 Real life footage, you know, like CCTV footage of actual kidnappings.
00:22:53 Now this is another reason why it it it's really kind of revealing when you have all these these mainstream media people calling it like AQ Anon, fever dream or whatever, they're not.
00:23:06 They're not going the way that you would want that.
00:23:09 I wanted them to go with this, right?

00:23:11 It would have been more way more interesting.
