00:25:47 Police in Wichita, KS, say a 45 year old man has been arrested in the theft of a bronze Jackie Robinson statue that was found dismantled and burned. Police said today the man was taken into custody in an unrelated case and charged on Monday. He now faces multiple counts.
00:26:02 Including aggravated criminal damage to property, police say thieves cut the bronze statue from its base last month at a park in Wichita.
00:26:12 He didn't just cut it down, he destroyed it and burned it. They found it ripped to shreds in a in a burning trash can.
