00:20:57 There he is, John Schulte, and I'm gonna say Schulte, I think it's Schulte and he and his wife Sonia ran an investment firm and he lied to them. He went in there and lied and said that he was an investor. He wanted to invest in, in securities. The guy didn't have any ******* money.

00:21:20 And start talking to these people.
00:21:22 And weasel is weigh in to try to get a job as a trader because he had this massive Jew brain.
00:21:31 He came in under the guise of being a client in our firm. It wasn't shortly thereafter that he first entered our brokerage, that my spouse and he walked into my office and suddenly had the revelation that she wanted him to become a producing broker.

00:26:07 So when he was fired, he swore revenge and threw a big tantrum. And again everyone, you know, he's the victim. Everyone else was was attacking him. Weird, huh? Weird. Who would have? Who would have thought, right. Who would have thought?

00:27:49 He starts another firm called Creative. He's very creative. These Jews are very creative Creative partners fund.
00:27:57 And this is at this point he starts getting sued by some of the old clients that are wondering where their money is. The SEC opens up an investigation into him in 1989.
00:28:09 While this is going on, he knows that he needs to make a bunch of money quick to.

00:28:15 Any SEC fines he's going to get or or try to stop, he thinks he can stop the investigation or whatever. And once again, he targets Sonya Schulte.

00:28:37 Love for her and begins to undermine their marriage and tries to separate her from her husband.
00:28:51 In 1988, Martin Frankel had been out of John Shelfie's office for two years, but he was not out of his former boss's.
00:28:57 Life phone rang. I answered it and it was Martin Frankel on the other end of the.
00:29:03 And quite frankly, my response was, what the hell are you doing calling here? And he said he was calling to speak with Sonia. She said. Ohh, he checks on me off and we're friends.
00:29:14 Perhaps fueled by the shelties stormy marriage, Sonya Schulte and Martin Frankel have developed much more than a friendship.
00:29:22 I remember the occasion when he told me that he was in love with Sonya and, you know, I look at Marty. I can't imagine anyone being attracted to him, and I said.

00:29:37 And he said, yeah.

00:29:41 April 14th, 1989 changed my life. She walked out never to return. She had left seven times previously gone to her parents. Come back the next day and honestly, I didn't think that was the demise of our marriage. But she never came back.

00:29:56 Remember, Martin Frankel's goal was to ruin me first, he took my wife and the two children. Second, they set up a competing house on the other side of town in an effort to ruin my business. In March of 1990, Martin Franklin signed and should they sent letters out to 2000, my clients saying they should do business with and then then the atomic bomb fell.

00:30:53 The allegation was greater than the truth was life in prison, no parole. It took three years to be vindicated. Lots of money and it was all concocted by Martin Frankel.

00:31:12 Steals the guys wife away and then makes up a story about him molesting the kids. Start spreading rumors, they send emails out and letters to all their clients saying, Oh yeah, you don't want your money with that child molesting ****. Invest your money here.
00:31:29 And so obviously when no one wants, no one wants to to have their money invested with a pedo.
00:31:35 So everyone starts to move their accounts over to Sonia, Sonia Schultz's and Martin Frankel's investment firm.

00:31:50 Even though, as he said, he's exonerated and court didn't really matter, the the rumor was bigger than the truth.

00:32:57 So he had to commit fraud, even just to to trade, which he never. He never really traded in the 1st place because he was.

00:35:00 A small time insurance company because insurance companies typically have a lot of assets on hand because they have to, in case someone needs to collect on insurance, you have to have the money to pay out the insurance.
00:35:13 And so, for example, he decided to buy an insurance company for $3.7 million.
00:35:23 And it gave him access to over $18 million in assets. So it was like buying money. It was like, you know, discounted money. Sure. You have to spend the initial $3.7 million to buy the insurance company. But then if all you're going to do is look the accounts of their, you know, the 18 to.
00:35:43 The $20 million that's that's kind of sweet. That's like that's.
00:35:47 That's just free money, so you might as yeah, if you're not gonna invest it in it if you're literally just gonna steal it.

So his new strategy became going around buying small time insurance companies, and then after he bought the first one for 3.7 million, he then had the 18,000,000 that he could then go buy a bigger one and he buy one for 18,000,000. Then guess what, maybe that one you bought for 18,000,000 has 50 million in assets and so on and so on and so on.

00:36:23 Franklin realized that by controlling these insurance companies, he would have instant access to extremely large amounts of cash. The money that they had on hand for investment so they could pay policyholders whenever there was a claim that would come in. 00:49:14 But Miss Burgess, death and the year leading up to it also provide an unusual insight in the life of Martin Frankel, the man who was alleged to have defrauded American insurance companies of at least two 215,000,000. Yeah, we'll get again. We'll get into that. He keeps taking money.
